Early end of the ski season

Valbianca SA announces that the deterioration of the snow conditions, due in particular to rain and fog, as well as the high temperatures of recent days, makes it impossible to continue the winter season. The sudden melting of the snowpack (more than 15 cm lost in 24 hours) no longer makes it possible to guarantee the safety of skiers and therefore the managers of the Airolo-Pesciüm cableways inform customers that the lifts will be closed with immediate effect.

Valbianca SA would like to thank its customers for the support they have shown, even in these last few months in which the low rainfall and high temperatures have put a strain on the normal course of the winter season.
