Sentiero Alto Tremorgio

This hiking trail starts at the Pesciüm middle station and will take you to Rodi-Fiesso, offering you some of the best views of the Leventina Valley. 

The diversity of the landscape that you will encounter in only 5 hours of walking is undoubtedly one of the strengths of this hiking trail in Ticino. The route is demanding and runs along the tree line. The itinerary presents some stretches above the arboreal vegetation, with splendid views of the Leventina, as well as some below, where the hiking trail crosses an intact alpine flora.

Passing the lakes of Grasso di Lago, Alpe di Ravina and Alpe di Prato you will reach the sign for Zemblasca. From here, a splendid downhill stretch will take you to the road to Ri della Valletta. Near Ri Secco begins the climb to Lake Tremorgio. Get ready to be amazed: turning around the crater of this mountain lake, it will be impossible to remain indifferent. The best view of the lake from above is from the Brusada ridge.

Stop at the Capanna Tremorgio for a refreshing break and then take the path that descends towards the Leventina. A series of hairpin bends will lead you to the shores of Lake Tremorgio and then down to Rodi-Fiesso via Cassin di Vènn.
