In Airolo-Pesciüm, the wait is over: season to start Friday, Dec. 15

In Airolo-Pesciüm, the long-awaited moment has finally arrived: we are pleased to announce that the winter season is about to kick off!

The snowfall of the past few hours has resulted in an accumulation of 70 cm of snow in Pesciüm, allowing our groomers to kick off slope preparation. The effort to ensure optimal conditions requires several days of working the mantle of snow to ensure maximum safety and the best quality experience on the ski area. In order to allow you to enjoy the season as soon as possible, we have therefore planned a gradual opening.

On the opening day of Friday, December 15, the Pesciüm ski lifts will welcome all enthusiasts for a first day of fun in the snow. In the following days, Section 2 of the Cable Car up to Sasso della Boggia and the lifts in Ravina will also gradually open. Given the large amount of work required for preparation, it is possible that the opening of the chairlift slopes will have to wait a few more days.

We also inform you that due to the start of construction work for the National Freestyle Training Center (NLZ), the terrain and slope morphology has undergone minor changes. In particular, we point out changes in the area of the intersection between the slope coming from Sasso della Boggia and the one from Comasnè, so please pay due attention to the signage in the area. The level of difficulty and slope of the trail, however, remain unchanged.
