Swiss Alpine Para Skiing Championships

During the weekend of March 27th to 29th, 2026, Airolo will be the stage for an extraordinary event: the National Alpine Para Skiing Championships. This competition will bring together Switzerland’s best para-athletes, ready to compete in the Giant Slalom, Special Slalom and Super G disciplines.

The race schedule is as follows:

• Friday, March 27, 2026 - Super G (M/F)

• Saturday, March 28, 2026 - Giant Slalom (M/F)

• Sunday, March 29, 2026 - Special Slalom (M/F)

Organized by the Swiss Paraplegic Group, this event is a unique opportunity to discover an exciting and highly competitive sport. The athletes, divided into categories, will compete on technical and demanding courses, adapted to ensure a fair and spectacular race.

This important event will coincide with the last opening weekend of the Airolo-Pesciüm ski area for the 2025/26 winter season. It will be the final chance to enjoy the slopes before the season ends, with the added opportunity to witness high-level competitions and experience a weekend full of sports and excitement.

The event will take place on the slopes of Airolo-Pesciüm, with free entry, offering everyone the chance to watch these incredible races up close. It will be a great opportunity to cheer for the athletes and celebrate the end of the winter season together.
