Notarial deed signed between the Airolo Patriziato and Valbianca SA for the usufruct of land to be used as National Training Center for Freestyle.

Valbianca SA is proud to report that in recent weeks the land deed between the Airolo Patriziato and Valbianca SA necessary to kick off construction of the new NLZ Center was signed.

The notarial deed, the last bureaucratic step before the start of construction in spring 2023, was signed for the Patriziato by President Ezio Pedrini and Secretary Mirella Beffa-Strozzi, and for Valbianca SA by Board President Michele Beffa and Director Simone Beffa. It grants the usufruct of the patrician land for the activities of the NLZ center for the next 30 years, and a clause defines that during the summer period the land will remain agricultural.

Meanwhile and at the same time, a contract was signed between Swiss-Ski and Valbianca SA for a 15-year collaboration.

Swiss-Ski is committed to recognizing Airolo-Pesciüm as a National Training and Education Center for the Freestyle disciplines: Aerials and Moguls. This agreement will enable Swiss-Ski and TiSki (regional ski federation) to better plan activities for the coming years in preparation for the various Olympic and world events, including the 2025 World Championships to be held in St. Moritz.

For its part, Valbianca SA is proud to link up with such an important partner for the next 15 years. The partnership will be able to bring internationally renowned events to the Leventina Valley, including the World Cup, and will provide training facilities for international teams during the winter season. This exciting project will thus bring stability and excellence to the area, as well as good economic returns over a long period.

Valbianca SA would like to thank the Airolo Patriziato for their excellent cooperation, which was indispensable for the start of work on this project, but also essential for all the company's future projects, and looks forward to starting construction in the spring of 2023, with the center scheduled to open in the winter of 2024-2025.
