Simone Beffa new Director of Valbianca SA

The Board of Directors of Valbianca SA has appointed Mr. Simone Beffa as the new Director. Chosen among a shortlist of valuable candidates following a selection by public competition, the new Director will be called to lead Valbianca in a period of growth and interesting regional developments.

Simone Beffa (1975), who will assume the position on September 1, 2021, has a consolidated management, business and commercial experience gained in different areas and roles. Simone Beffa convinced the Board of Directors thanks to his great experience in the gastronomic sector and to his excellent knowledge of Airolo, Leventina and Valbianca. His passion for winter and summer sports and his familiarity with all national languages complete Simone's profile for the role entrusted to him.

Since 2011 Simone Beffa has been Director of GNA Gestione Negozi Alimentari SA and GRT Gestione Ristoranti SA in Lugano. As a manager in the public and private sector, the new Director was responsible for the management, leadership and training of the company's staff. Simone has been a reference person for the development of new marketing projects, financial, market and tourism analysis with great and in-depth experience in financial and real estate consulting, IT management, planning, organization and area expansion.

With the appointment of the new Director, the Board reinforces a number of new positions at the company designed to support the anticipated period of growth and new investment in support of the industry and the region.
