Get ready for an evening of fun! On Friday, December 29, the Stralünèda makes its grand return! This traditional uphill race is a unique opportunity for adrenaline junkies and ski mountaineers eager to test themselves along the route from Airolo to Comasnè. But it is not just for them: it is an open invitation to those who dream of a quiet night walk under the stars, with their reliable snowshoes as companions.

The Stralünèda is more than just a competition: it is an experience that welcomes all mountain enthusiasts. Whether you are an expert climber of snowy peaks or simply wish to immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of Alpine night, there is room for every type of mountain enthusiast.

And after the race or walk, the evening comes alive with a warm welcome of mulled wine, offered to warm body and spirit. This is followed by the opportunity to share a convivial dinner in Pesciüm.

Start

• Short course at 5:30 p.m.
• Long course at 6:15 p.m.

Long course (ski mountaineers, >16 years old)
Nante - Pesciüm - Comasnè
6 km / + 900m elevation gain

Short course (snowshoes and ski mountaineers)
Nante - Pesciüm
4 km / + 600m elevation gain

Given the snowy conditions, the start has been moved to Nante. From 5 p.m., a free shuttle bus will be available for travel.

Mandatory to carry backpack with jacket and flashlight during the race
Snowshoe rental: available for reservation from Scuola Svizzera di Sci di Airolo
