Swiss Freestyle Olympic Medallists in Airolo

Would you like to meet some of the Swiss athletes who stepped onto the podium at the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic Games?
Noé Roth, Pirmin Werner and Lina Kozomara claimed silver in the Aerials Mixed Team Event, with Roth also winning a second silver medal in the individual competition. The trio will be at the slope-side bar of the Raiffeisen Freestyle Arena on Saturday 7 March, from 10:30 to 11:30, for autographs, a meet-and-greet with fans and media interviews. In the afternoon, at around 15:00, we will honour the three athletes with an official tribute during the prize-giving ceremony of the Raiffeisen FIS Freestyle Europa Cup. Between 15:00 and 16:00, another session for autographs and photos is also scheduled.

A heartfelt thank-you goes to our sponsors, whose support is essential to the realization of these events:

But the freestyle events in Airolo don't stop here. From 19 to 22 March, the Raiffeisen FIS Freestyle Junior World Ski Championships await you.

Freestyle Skiing in Ticino

Nestled in the heart of the Alps, Airolo-Pesciüm has been a driving force of freestyle skiing in Switzerland for more than two decades. From hosting the Freestyle World Cup in 2004, to the Junior World Championships in 2007, and the World Cup again in 2018, Airolo has helped shape some of the most memorable chapters in freestyle history over the past twenty years.

Over the years, Airolo has earned a reputation as an international hotspot for freestyle skiing. Since 2013, through its partnership with Ticino freestyle, an organization founded by Tiski to promote freestyle events in the Canton of Ticino, Airolo has become a staple on the FIS European Cup calendar, hosting annual competitions in Moguls, Dual Moguls, and Aerials.

In February 2025, with the inauguration of the Raiffeisen Freestyle Arena, Airolo-Pesciüm wrote a new chapter in its story. The facility serves as a national training centre for freestyle skiing, where top athletes train alongside the next generation of rising stars. It also stands as a venue for regional, national, and international competitions.

Airolo has been the starting point for athletes who have shaped Swiss freestyle skiing: Deborah Scanzio, who competed in four Olympic Games, and Marco Tadé, who won the bronze medal in Dual Moguls at the 2017 World Championships, both made their first jumps here.

In Airolo, the passion for freestyle runs as strong today as it did twenty years ago. Season after season, we host competitions of every level and continue to find new ways to nurture the champions of tomorrow.
